Leif Regvall
Housing Director, Transaction Manager

Leif Regvall brings over 20 years of experience in real estate and housing to Urban Development & Finance LLC, having worked for a combination of private development companies and housing agencies, as well as financial institutions. In his career in affordable housing, Mr. Regvall has closed and managed project transactions valued at over $300 million.

Prior to his work with Urban Development & Finance LLC, Mr. Regvall operated Leif Regvall & Associates, a real estate and affordable housing consultancy. Previously, Regvall made direct equity investments in affordable and market-rate housing projects for Fannie Mae’s American Communities Fund.  Prior, Mr. Regvall originated, structured, closed and managed construction and permanent loans for developers of low income housing tax credit projects at Bank of America Community Development Banking group.

Additionally, Mr. Regvall managed all phases of project development from acquisition, design and entitlement through to financing, construction and marketing, for developers of low-income housing including the Related Companies of California and Thomas Safran & Associates.
