MONTCLAIR WEST ADAMS
The Montclair Project (also known as Montclair West Adams) is located along West Adams Boulevard and Montclair Street between Crenshaw and Arlington Boulevards just south of the 10 Freeway in Los Angeles, Montclair W. Adams, LLC (“MWA”) is the owner of the Montclair West Adams property, through its affiliate Urban Development & Finance, LLC, and is developing the Project as a mixed-use including intergenerational affordable housing over retail and commercial space. The Montclair project is featured by the CRA on its website.
The Montclair Project involves a revitalization of 1.1 acres, which are located in an historically significant, highly-traveled, yet economically neglected section of South Los Angeles. The site is approximately equidistant between Santa Monica and Downtown Los Angeles, giving residents excellent access to employment, shopping and critical services. The project is adjacent to the West Adams Terrace Historic Preservation Overlay Zone.
MWA will utilize the architectural aesthetic of the Historic West Adams area while being developed as a sustainable laboratory project – targeting a result of being the most environmentally efficient urban low-income housing project in the United States.
